Hello, my name is Wilfred Lambert I have lived in King’s Lynn for the greater part of my life, I love this town and the people in it, it is my home and a wonderful place to live.
Having worked in the construction Industry locally and in other parts of the country I went into training young people at the CITB’s College at Bircham Newton and in my leisure time coaching and organising Rugby for young players from all around King’s Lynn.
Now being retired and secretary of the North West Norfolk Labour Party I am very keen to help our young people and the people of King’s Lynn generally in provision of services such as Education, Health and Social Care including care for the Elderly and Disabled along with youth services. Looking to remove traffic congestion to improve our environment, roads and local bus transport. We have issues around the Friars at school start and finish times, with street parking and the ongoing redevelopment of Hillington Square means the loss of the community café and town houses being squeezed into the Bridge & All Saint’s Street area of our historic town. We have a nice new primary school in a central position for North Lynn which should allow more parents to walk their children to school and save them from the horrors of the underpass and the polluting traffic on one of our main artery roads. We need a Doctors surgery in or near North Lynn as this area has grown but we must not lose our surgeries in the town.
I will work closely with other Labour Councillors in this area to take local issues to County Hall at Norwich to ensure that King’s Lynn is not forgotten at County level.
Vote and put your trust in me and I will be honoured to be your voice at County Hall.
