James Bremner in Attleborough

James Bremner Attleborough Division South Norfolk

Labour Party Norfolk County Council Candidate for Attleborough Division

About James Bremner

I was born, raised and educated in Norfolk, was lured away for a few years but was drawn back here as a great place to raise a family. I have been a primary teacher for about 37 wonderful years and a Morris Dancer since 1982. I have also managed to be a district councillor for 17 years and in that time, among many things, I helped lead on the now Norfolk wide Solar Panel initiatives, and national award winning Passiv Haus homes. Even more importantly I have been a County Councillor, became County Planning chair, and enjoyed working with all different councillors to get things done.

I have always believed in “Always Helping, Always Caring, Always Active, All Year Round, not just at Election Time” and will bring that to my work in Attleborough.

Being part of the community is my aim, and you will see me all through the year, knocking on doors, regular leaflets, and other contacts, so that when people raise issues and problems, via phone calls, letters, e-mails, and our many surveys, I can use my position as a councillor to get answers to get action, or at least to make sure they are listened to and at least have an explanation.
